After her destruction
For her first institutional solo exhibition, Lila-Zoé Krauß transforms the Kunsthaus exhibition hall into an immersive stage of sound, light, and image. In her newly produced science-fiction music and opera project [After her Destruction], she challenges conventional values and perceptions of reality, redefining otherness, femininity, and subjectivity. The narrative centers on the protagonist, Girl. With the help of the computer program The Art of Mind, which fuses the digital, the analog, and Girl’s dream worlds, she embarks on a journey through her mind. In search of a lost memory, Girl is drawn into a vortex of imagination, boundary-less space, and emancipation. Musically, the artist combines electroacoustic sounds and expressive vocals into dense avant-pop compositions.
